Fraud Prevention SmartSystem - A New Paradigm:

Beck's Fraud Prevention SmartSystem (FPSS). FPSS was developed because of the Industry's vital need for a system to quickly stop phone fraud in all forms. Most system were "home grown" or simply threshold based. Anti-fraud systems developed by telephone industry giants and vendors were effective at slowing down phone fraud, but not able to deter a 15% annual growth in phone fraud.

Perpetrators could be external, internal, anywhere on the network. They gained access by clipping onto phone wires, hacking into computers, or bribing employees for access codes. When culprits could be shut down, it was after weeks or months of profitable thievery. Then they resurfaced wiser and warier two weeks later. The problem was fluid, elusive, pervasive and spreading. It forced a new strategy, a new paradigm - FPSS.

Usage Signature - A New Standard:
Earlier solutions set thresholds or set "known fraud patterns" that criminals learned to avoid. FPSS' unique "Learning Module" generates a three-dimensional "Usage Signature" for every customer/subscriber on the system (even if the customer has several lines and services). This detailed computer model allows FPSS to rapidly detect any ruse.

  Case Manager:
The Case Manager allows a company to manage any size CDRs traffic with the least amount of staff. With it's Automatic Intelligent feedback System and practically unlimited history, it's amazedly fast to monitor, find and handle fraud. Thus reducing the number of people required to stop fraud.

  Fraud Service Bureau:
It has always been difficult for phone companies to spend the kind of money required to purchase or implement an in-house system with prices ranging as high as $1,000,000. many smaller companies have never been able to implement a system. Now with capitol money being tight and with the size of staffs being reduced it has become even harder.

The Fraud Service Bureau brings all of the time tested FPSS system capabilities to every size telecom company. With just one monthly payment, the entire functionality of FPSS is available to everyone.
